SEM MINATEC Entreprises in brief

SEM MINATEC Entreprises is an industrial development platform created in 2003 in Grenoble, at the heart of the MINATEC micro and nanotechnology innovation campus. Its mission is to manage the activities and operations of two high-tech buildings, known as BHT1 and BHT2.

MINATEC Entreprises is home to 14 companies in the BHT1 and BHT2, including start-ups working on collaborative projects with public research labs, R&D units of large corporations, small and medium-sized businesses, and partners of the CEA (Atomic Energy Commission).

MINATEC Entreprises is a semi-public company with a Board of Management.
Its shareholders are the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, Grenoble-Alpes Métropole, the Département de l’Isère, the CEA, the CDC (Caisse des dépôts et Consignations), the Caisse d’Épargne Rhône-Alpes and INP Entreprises.

« We are experts in supporting and developing innovative companies. »

Fifteen years after BHT1 was commissioned and almost a year after BHT2 was completed, the success of the MINATEC Entreprises industrial development platform illustrates the accuracy of its founders’ intuition! Since its inception, MINATEC Entreprises has developed unique and renowned expertise in supporting the development of high-tech companies. The quality of the premises and equipment provided, as well as the services and personalized support offered, are highly praised by the companies accommodated.

MINATEC Entreprises has many assets that have contributed to its development and reputation. MINATEC Entreprises is strategically located in the heart of the CEA’s micro and nanotechnology innovation campus and the GIANT innovation campus. It is at the heart of the economic and scientific development hub of a region that is internationally recognized for its innovation potential.
The proximity of INP Grenoble, SATT Linksium and the Minalogic and Tenerrdis competitiveness clusters, the CEA research facilities, the CNRS, the members of the EPN Science Campus (ESRF, EMBL, lBS, ILL) and major international companies such as Schneider and ST Microelectronics, make for an exceptional environment.

This innovation microcosm is synonymous with opportunities for local, national and international partnerships. It is a source of economic vitality and dynamism, encouraging the emergence of tomorrow’s technologies and the creation of direct and indirect jobs.

The SEM Minatec cultivates a sense of welcome and support for all high-tech companies, whether they have a handful of employees or a hundred. Thanks to the feedback acquired over the years from the companies hosted.

Finally, joining Minatec Entreprises is first and foremost a way of following in the footsteps of the men and women who imagined, supported and made this project a reality. I am thinking in particular of Jean Therme, Geneviève Fioraso and Annick Merle.
I am proud to take over from them and to play my part in the development and diversification of the Minatec Entreprises model.
